Jefferson Davis is a Toronto-based wine writer and educator. He holds a Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in the United Kingdom. Jefferson has worked as the managing editor of Wine Access Magazine and as the editor of the First In Line tasting report of LCBO releases. He has also served as a judge for the Canadian Wine Awards, International Value Wine Awards and Toronto Wine and Cheese Show, and as an educator with the WSET.
A lighter style Barolo with Impressive character and depth for the money. Typical cherry, plum, dried apricot, herbal and slightly earthy mineral complexity. Good depth and structure with evident tannin and a long finish combining dark and dried fruit, touches of roasted nut and earthiness. Approachable now but will drink well through 2018.
